Udim succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday morning Deputy Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Yadav said.
He died while being taken to Lahan Hospital for treatment.
The locals, Ruk Maya Rai, Ramesh BK, Sambhu Pariyar, Silas Rai, Sagar Thapa, Kumar Rai, Bhim Kumari Rai, Srijana Rai, Rajan Karki, Sunda Rai, Sandip BK, Bal Bahadur BK, Milan Rai and Ram Kumar Rai have been taken to police custody for investigation, District Police Office said.
Udim´s body has been sent to Udaypur District Hospital for postmortem, the police said.
