Two party cadres including Rameshwor Mandal were servely beaten after they allegedly threatened local businessman Mayaram Biswas to donate Rs 50,000.
Mandal has received injuries to his head, the police said.
The injured are receiving treatment at Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar.
Both of them are members of Sadbhavana-led Madhes Rakshya Bahini.
