Limbu netted his third goal in the 20th minute and also became the second player to complete hat-trick after Jumanu Rai of Nepal Police Club. Rai had netted four goals in the inaugural day of the tournament against Baudha Football Club on Thursday.[break]
In another match, New Road Team (NRT) toiled hard to beat newcomer Brigade Boys Club (BBC) 1-0. Asim Jung Karki scored the lone goal seven minutes from time.
Limbu netted all three goals for Jawalakhel capitalizing on defending and goalkeeping error of Swarswoti players. Limbu scored an early second minute goal to put the Jawalakhel ahead from the box taking advantage of Swarswoti goalie Bikash Kutu´s mistake who failed to clear a shot of Bishal Rai (jersey no 10).
Limbu doubled the tally after Swarswoti defender Bikram Baniya failed to clear a goal Jawalakhel goalie Dinesh Thapa kicked off ahead of the box. Limbu completed his hat-trick in the 20th minute again after Swarswoti´s defender failed to clear Bishal Rai´s (jersey no 9) strike in the box.
Jawalakhel sealed the victory in the 59th minute after Laxmi Shrestha made a superb volley in Rai´s (10) cross.
Swarswoti coach Pradip Nepal who has been looking for the top flight team since last two months said that his side conceded early goals due to weaknesses in the defending lineup. Nepal also the former players of NRT, Friends, Jawalakhel and Kathmandu Club said that the target of the team was to remain in top flight.
Jawalakhel dominated the match from the very beginning and kept the opponents busy resisting the attacks during the first half. But Swarswoti came up with an improved performance in the second half. In the 37th minute, Ramesh Ghimire´s close range strike in the 37th minute was denied by goalie Thapa and Druga Lal Shrestha narrowly missed scoring chance after his low ball shot rebounded.

Jawalakhel coach Kishor KC termed the win ´easy.´ KC who has been looking after the team since the last one month said, “I got everything I expected from the boys and the club has eyed to secure a position among the top eight. But I aim higher,” KC said.
In another match, the young guns of BBC played valiantly against NRT; one of the established names in Nepali football which came up with two foreign players in its squad.
NRT had to wait until 83rd minute to find the back of net against BBC that consist of seven debutants in the top flight football. Karki upset BBC after he got a long pass from Olansile Sulaiman of Ivory Coast in the six yard box.
Both the teams came up with fast and physical show. NRT made as many as half a dozen attacks on post but all in vain. During the first half, Rajan Adhikari and Karki´s attempts to put the team ahead went in vain as both of them hit above the bar. In the 72nd minute Goalie Ranjitkar made a heroic dive to send Karki´s shot above the bar.
For BBC, Ganesh Bishwokarman´s bouncing header in the 69th minute off Yalambar Rai´s corner was punched by NRT custodian Binaya Shrestha.
NRT coach Rajukaji Shakya said that his side failed to come up with an organized show as it was their first match. Shakya who aims to qualify for the National League finishing in top eight positions opined that the opponents put up a better show as NRT played many wrong passes.
Shakya´s counterpart Sanoj Shrestha said that inexperienced players and low level of fitness was the reason for team´s dismal show. He also vowed to come up with a better show in the upcoming matches and firmly remain in top flight after completion of the league.
