KATHMANDU, Feb 8: A westerly wind system is bringing partly cloudy conditions to Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
The MFD expects light snowfall in one or two locations of these provinces' mountainous regions, while the rest of the country will experience clear weather.
Fog and mist will likely form in the Terai region during the morning, potentially disrupting daily life, affecting health, and impacting road and air transportation. The MFD has advised people to take necessary precautions.
