KATHMANDU, Jan 3: Life Insurance Corporation Nepal Ltd (LIC Nepal) has opened its 35th branch office at Chabahil. Issuing a statement, the life insurance company said that Fatta Bahadur KC, chairman of Beema Samiti, inaugurated the branch office amid a ceremony held on Sunday.

Inaugurating the branch office, KC said that importance of life insurance has increased in the aftermath of the earthquake, according to the statement. Also speaking at the program, LIC Nepal's CEO PR Mishra said that the life insurer was working toward providing life insurance access to the people across the country.
