CHITWAN, July 2: Laxman Paudel of Hatemalo Weekly and Geeta Kumal of Kalika FM secured first positions in a swimming competition organized by Nepal Sports Journalist Forum (NSJF) Chitwan Coordination Committee on Thursday.
Laxman came first in men's section, while Geeta finished on top of women's section. Ramesh Rana Magar of NSJF and Narayan Dhungana of Rastriya Samachar Samiti came second and third respectively in men's section.

Likewise, Sangita Acharya of Crystal TV and Manisha Shrestha of Synergy FM became second and third in women's categories. Altogether 27 sports journalists, including 19 male and eight female, took part in the competition.
The event was mark 91st International Sports Journalist Day which falls on Thursday.
