Landgren congratulates Nepal

KATHMANDU, May 25: The Head of the United Nations Mission in Nepal (UNMIN) and Representative of the UN Secretary-General Karin Landgren has congratulated Madhav Kumar Nepal for being elected to the post of Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal.



In a statement issued Monday, UNMIN urged all political parties to cooperate in order to carry forward Nepal´s peace process, including addressing the future of the Maoist army personnel and drafting of the new Constitution.
