KATHMANDU, Aug 22: Kasthamandap College defeated Andrew Jonathan Wild (AJW) College 2-1 in the First Inter College A Level Football Tournament on Monday.
Laxman Katuwal and Seson Manandhar scored one goal each for Kasthamandap in the match held at Budhanilkantha School's football ground in Kathmandu. Saayas Kafle scored consolation goal for AJW College.
AJW took the lead with Sayas' opener in the 11th minute before Laxman Katuwal equalized in the 49th minute for Kastamandap. Season's goal in the 55th minute turned to be winning goal for Kasthamandap.
The tournament is being organized by Sports Training and Recreational Club of Budhanilkantha School and is sponsored by Global Reach and Nepal Telecom.
