Journalist Sharma awarded

KATHMANDU : Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists (NEFEJ) has decided to honor journalist Sabin Sharma with Environment Journalism Award-2012. Sharma, a senior correspondent with Rajdhani daily, will be conferred with the award, which carries a purse of Rs 25,000 and certificates, on the occasion of World Environment Day on Wednesday. In a statement, the NEFEJ said that Sharma was selected for the award for his consistent reporting on environmental issues throughout 2012. The NEFEJ has been distributing this award to one journalist every year for the last two decades.
