CHITWAN, June 6: A motorcyclist hit by a jeep died here Monday. The jeep (Na 3 Cha 119) hit the motorcycle at Janaki Chowk of Bharatpur Metropolis-15.
The 50-year old motorcyclist, Birendra Raut, who was injured seriously in the accident died while receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.

Pillion rider Raj Kumar Nepali, 41, who was also injured in the accident, is out of danger. He has been receiving treatment at the same hospital. Police have taken the jeep driver under control for investigation.
