Interaction on OCR's e-services held

KATHMANDU, May 27: The Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) and the International Finance Company (IFC) of the World Bank Group on Monday organized an interaction to provide information to stakeholders on e-services introduced by Office of the Company Registrar (OCR).

Speaking at the program, Shanker Aryal, registrar of OCR, said that the government has been running different e-governance activities with support from IFC. “The e-services launched with support from IFC has helped businessmen and firms to register their business staying at their homes and offices,” said Aryal.

Ashish Rauniyar, a representative of IFC, highlighted different activities of IFC in Nepal. Likewise, Amrit Pant, general secretary of CAN, said that e-services launched in coordination with CAN will be made simpler so that it becomes easy to use.

On the occasion, Sansar Jung Dewan, IT officer of OCR, made presentation on various online services provided by OCR.
Currently, businessmen and firms can register and submit all the details about their firms online at www.ocr.gov.np. They need to visit the OCR office only to receive their registration certificate.
