KATHMANDU, Sept 25: The 11th edition of Annapurna Friendship Inter-school Chess Tournament kicked off Friday at the semi-covered hall of the National Sports Council, Tripureshwar.

The first round of the tournament, featuring competitions in various eight age categories, was played on the opening day. The three-day event features 200 players including 60 girls from 32 schools of the capital.
