Menon will meet Maoist Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to enquire about the progress in drafting a new constitution and reiterate India´s offer to assist in any way it can. He is also scheduled to hold consultations with Foreign Minister Upendra Yadav and main opposition party leader Girija Prasad Koirala. Menon will also hold meetings with Madhesi parties to get their perspective on the mounting unrest in the Tarai.
