Palpa Maoist had earlier agreed with the local administration to refrain from protests.[break]
“The envoy’s visit was scheduled after the Maoist commitment. They had agreed not to protest the visit,” an official of District Administration Office said.
Sood had arrived Palpa to inspect various schools being constructed under aid of the Indian government.
