India closes land borders with Nepal except Raxaul, Banbasa, Raniganj and Sonouli to prevent transmission of coronavirus

KATMANDU, March 14: India has closed its all land border points with Nepal except Raxaul, Banbasa, Raniganj and Sonouli to be effective from today.

The southern neighbour decided to close land border points with Nepal to prevent the transmission of coronavirus.

The Indian government released a notice to this effect yesterday evening.
