KATHMANDU, Oct 30: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leader Kamal Thapa has described the controversy involving alleged middleman Inam Sapkota as a major test for Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
Thapa made the remarks in a social media post, saying voters had supported Shah in the hope of bringing political change and ensuring good governance.

He questioned whether the prime minister would succeed in dismantling the network of middlemen capable of influencing powerful centres or compromise with it.
“Will he pass this test by breaking up this network of middlemen that can shake even the centres of power, or will he reach a compromise? That remains to be seen,” Thapa wrote.
