KATHMANDU, Nov 25: Nepali Communist Party (NCP) Coordinator and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has vowed to focus more on results-oriented work than long speeches.
Speaking at the NCP’s event for integrating youth and trade union members on Tuesday, Dahal emphasized that the party must now implement its historic initiatives through concrete action. “I have said it before — now we will reduce speeches and increase work,” he said.
Let’s live and let live
Dahal said his efforts will target the interests of the Gen-Z generation and workers, highlighting youth and labor participation in the party as a source of energy for action. He underscored the need for reforms in agriculture, tourism, industry, and energy to generate employment.
He also criticized the current government for halting programs he had initiated as prime minister, including support for returning youth entrepreneurs and funds in the Social Security Fund. Dahal announced that upcoming rallies starting December 12 in Dhangadhi will focus on pressing the government to implement these programs and create a pro-employment environment, rather than just speeches.
