Hundreds descend to streets to support Dr KC

KATHMANDU, Sept 2: Hundreds of medical students and aspirants on Wednesday descended to the streets to express their solidarity to Dr Govinda KC who has been staging fast-unto-death for the sixth consecutive time.

The students demanded that the government immediately implement the report submitted by Kedar Bhakta Mathema-led committee. The committee has drafted new policy to reform medical education in the country.

The rallies that began from began from Maitighar Mandala headed to New Baneshwor and was prevented from heading further by the police as they entered the prohibited zone.
