Two songs from the film, the title track 'How Funny' and 'Ek Chimti Tara', were also screened at the same event.
'How Funny' will also mark Nilu Doma Sherpa's shift from directing short films to a feature length film. "It's a difficult task to direct a film. That's why I chose to closely observe how it's done before deciding the right time to start work. I'm sure the audience won't be bored with the film," she said.
Birthday girl Karki explained that 'How Funny' was a special film for her. "This is a fun film and I'm very excited," she said. Presented by Eyecore Films and the production of A Tiny But Big Pictures, the script for the film has been written by Shan Basnyat based on the director's concept and story. Former Miss Nepal Malvika Subba is starting a new career as the Executive Producer of the film.
Apart from Priyanka Karki, audiences can see Dayahang Rai, Bijay Baral, Keki Adhikari, Nisha Adhikari and Anoop Bikram Shahi in the film.
