KATHMANDU, Sept 11: Chairman of the Good Governance and Monitoring Committee under the Legislature-Parliament, Mohan Singh Rathore, presented the 'Report related to service and facilities for former office-bearers-2073' at the meeting of the Parliament today.
Similarly, Industry Ministry, Nabindra Raj Joshi, tabled 'SAARC Agreement on Implementation of Regional Standards' and 'SAARC Agreement on Multilateral Agreement on Recognition of Conformity Assessment'.
Stack of bills stalled in National Assembly
Tabling the agreements, Minister Joshi briefed the Parliament about its rationale and necessity.
Before this, the meeting had approved the 'Bill on Social Security-2072' tabled by Minister for Labour and Employment, Suryaman Gurung. Similarly, Minister Gurung had presented 'Labour Bill-2072'.
Likewise, two bills related to 'Bill on Ground Water Resources-2072' and 'Bill on Irrigation-2072' tabled by Irrigation Minister Deepak Giri were also passed.
The next meeting of the Legislature-Parliament will be held at 11:00 am on September 12. RSS
