Hotel workers protest in Biratnagar

BIRATNAGAR, June 4: Hotel workers have voiced their concern over the non-implementation of accord signed between hotel entrepreneurs and Nepal Independent Hotel Workers Union.



An agreement was inked between hoteliers and workers to impose 10 per cent service charge in 14 hotels of Biratnagar sub-metropolis and provide this amount o hotel workers.[break]



Workers have come up with protest program when mutual understanding was breached from hoteliers.



They announced to close the hotels for an indefinite period from June 8, said Workers Union Chairperson Manoj Kumar Basnet.
