SOLUKHUMBU, Feb 23: A Himalayan hare has been found dead at Gudel VDC of Solukhumbu district.
Chairperson of Gudel Community Forest, Nuru Thapa shared that the hispid hare listed as endangered species was found dead in the forest on Tuesday.

Some years ago a couple of brown-coloured hare was visible in the area, said locals. The hare which is only found in mountainous region is in the list of disappearing species.
The District Forest Office, Solukhumbu has said that it would undertake necessary study on the hispid hare found dead in the forest. RSS
