A swine flu help desk set up in front of the immigration office in Nepalgunj has started checking people entering Nepal from India. Nepalgunj point is considered as a high risk for swine flu entry as people can freely move between the two countries from the point.
District Public Health Office said the high alert was adopted after reports of death of Indians due to swine flu. The help desk has tested the health of 382 people so far and 29 of them were Indian tourists. Anybody detected with swine flu will be treated in isolation in Bheri zonal hospital in Nepalgunj, the office said.
