Talking to media persons in Nepalgunj, Thapa said the jumbo-size government with ´corrupt´ ministers in it is, in fact, not in a position to understand anything about good governance. He blamed the government of being the most corrupt in the history.
Although Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai airs lofty ideals, he has not done anything substantial till now, Thapa said, adding that just riding a Mustang vehicle is not going to curb widespread corruption in the country.
He also accused PM Bhattarai of telling Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao during his recent Nepal visit that Nepal might get merged with its neighbor
and demanded clarification for the alleged statement.
PM Bhattarai has brought shame on the entire nation by giving such an anti-national statement, Thapa said.
Where there is government, there is corruption!
