Sabi Bhul, 15, daughter of Pakhe Bhul of the VDC died when the sand mound caved in her while she was digging out the mud to smear the house for Dashain, said Area Police Office, Lamki.
Her friend Bal Kumari Shahi was rescued and is undergoing treatment at local hospital.
