The project is a two-week long session, that will engage participants in various creative writing and illustration classes.[break]
“The project specifically targets students that have completed their SLC board exams, since they have a lot of free time on hand and are confused regarding time utilization,” says Ayushma Regmi, organizing team of the project.
Along with being introduced to various genres of writing, ranging from fiction, non-fiction, poetry and mixed genre among others, participants will observe sessions on different styles of writing.
“There will be diverse classes on writing for community engagement, writing for children, writing for friends, family, writing for self and writing for the anonymous reader,” informed Regmi.

The project, which the organizers refrain from calling a “workshop”, refers to it as an open learning session, where participants will also produced a journal by the end of two weeks.
“The journal will be a hand written one since we will be moving with the motto of escape from technology,” she said. The final product will also be put up on the website of ‘saTTya.’
Participation fee for the project is Rs 2,000, that includes the learning sessions, materials, transport during excursions, and light snacks during the day. Participants are requested to bring their own lunch.
