In the press meet held at Nepal Tourism Board on Wednesday, Nepal Inked informed that the convention will be held at Bhrikuti Mandap in Kathmandu for three days, starting from October 18. According to the press release, the event is bringing together national and international tattoo artists, art exhibitors and national level rock bands, all under one roof.
Along with tattoo competitions, the event will see tattoo seminar on machine tuning and building by Paulo Cruzes – the “machine master”. Body Suspension show by piercers and body modification artists Emilio Gonzales and Bhuwan Thapa is also another pull of the event.
On the other hand, you wouldn’t want to miss live performances by the bands like Albatross, Mukti & Revival, Bobin aka Himalayan Bob, Manual Transmission, Psychic Tower and Tumbleweed on October 18. October 19 will feature the bands X-Mantra, Bidroha, Ful’ Stop, Rage Hybrid, Red Rabbit Commando and Underside with special appearance by Emilio Gonzalez. Similarly, the last day will see performances by the bands Newaz, Jindabaad, Horny Monks and Lakhey.
Besides, vintage car and bike show will entertain the participants on all the three days. The third day will see bike/skateboard and motorbike stunts by Monster Bash. Along with that, Art Lab will be conducting an art workshop on Live Backdrop Painting, Car Body Paint and Installation Art on the same day. And of course, food stalls and bars will also be there for refreshments.
The entry price is Rs 100 for the first two days and Rs 200 for the last day.
