KATHMANDU, Sept 4: GEMS, Times and Xavier International College won their respective matches in the Ncell U-18 Inter-college Basketball Tournament at the Army Physical Training and Sports Center in Lagankhel on Friday.

Ammar Azam contributed 11 points for GEMS in its 49-15 thumping of NAMI. Similarly, Times saw off DAV College 63-42 riding on 20 points of Himal Shahi. Xavier ousted NASA 77-45 in the third match.
Ajay Kushuruwa scored 34 points for the winning team. Telecom operator Ncell is organizing the tournament in association with Nepal Basketball Association (NeBA).
