The deceased has been identified as Pascal Cristin Teveny, 46, of France.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP) of Metropolitan Police Range, Narayan Singh Khadka, the deceased, who had come to Nepal taking visa for 19 days on October 18, was found dead in a room of his friend’s house.
Teveny, who used to come Nepal frequently, was living in a house of his friend, Ramesh Karmacharya of Bhaktapur, was out of contact for the past two days.
Karmacharya found Teveny´s room closed and informed the police and police found Teveny dead in the room.
The dead body has been taken to Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj for postmortem.
SP Khadka added that this would be informed to French Embassy to Nepal.
