CHITWAN, Dec 7: Chairman of the Nepal Federation Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) , Rajkumar Lekhi, said the consensus made by four major political forces is not acceptable to them.

Expressing concern over the President´s remarks that he has been calling all-party-meeting to the four political powers, the UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress, CPN (UML) and United Democratic Madhesi Front, Lekhi claimed the political consensus among the major political parties could in no way be an all-party decision.[break]

Speaking at a press conference organized by the Indigenous Nationalities Journalists´ Association in Chitwan today, he said none of the major three political parties and the UDMF are for fresh Constituent Assembly (CA) elections.

The political parties have been entangled on the power game instead of moving ahead to end current political crisis, Lekhi said and expressed his disagreement over the President´s move and claimed it would not give political outlet.

Lekhi termed the census data recently made public as a wrong one and claimed it was not transparent and was unscientific.
