Locals Ganga Prasad Chaulagain and Bhim Bahadur Singh among others sustained serious injuries when a tipsy gang of YF cadres led by Dan Bahadur Malla allegedly attacked them with a khukuri and stoned them.
Among the injured, Chaulagain has sustained deep injuries in his head. All of them are under going treatment at the District Hospital.
It is said that police thrashed two locals who reached police office seeking security.
Similarly, the gang reportedly vandalized the building of local Himchuli Agricultural Cooperatives and Asmita Hotel too.
According to the District Police Office, alleged Malla is under the police control.
