Inaugurating a talk programme organized by BP Thought Academy here Thursday, leader Deuba said a landlocked country like Nepal that is between India and China should give due attention towards achieving economic prosperity through the proper use of water resources.
As a people-elected government can do a great deal for the country´s freedom and economic and social progress, all should now focus on the coming CA elections, he added. [break]
At the programme, RPP leader Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani said Nepal needs to remain alert towards its national interest and border security while also gauging well the interest and concerns of the friendly countries.
CPN-UML leader Ghanashyam Bhusal said the political parties need to become united on issues of national interest and pointed out the need of policy and programmes that takes the country towards economic self-reliance because nationality weakens due to poverty.
