The delegation led by FNCCI President Suraj Baidhya on Tuesday met Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala and CPN-Maoist Chairman Mohan Baidhya and urged them to help develop an atmosphere conducive to bringing a complete budget.[break]
At the meeting held at Koirala´s Maharajgunj residence and the Maoist Party Office in Buddhanagar respectively, the FNCCI office-bearers urged them to help remove all kinds of obstacles facing the economic sector of the country.
In the meeting with the senior leaders, matters relating to the problem of trade union, donation and the recent ban in India-registered vehicles and Hindi films were discussed, said FNCCI President Baidhya.
On the occasion, Maoist Chairman Baidhya said his party did not pursue a policy to discourage economic activities and the recent drive was to promote local industries and products rather than to stop India-registered vehicle and Hindi films from running in the country.
The delegation is also scheduled to call on UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal today.
