Meena Poudel, 42, of Aruchaur-4 and her daughter Maya, 16, were swept away while returning from a paddy field, according to chief of Panchamul Police Post Sop Bahadur Bohara.

Saptari villages flooded
Half-a-dozen villages have been flooded in Saptari district after Saturday night´s heavy rainfall.
The swollen Khado River has flooded Rajbiraj municipality-10, apart from Dumari Shivathan, Dighawa, Bharadaha, Rampura, Malhaniya, Sakarpura, and Tilathi, among other villages.
Similarly, the swollen Mahuli river has flooded 500 bighas of land in Bhardaha VDC.
