According to FDRA leader Prem Bahadur Singh, the meeting decided to push for converting the current government into a consensus government or picking the new prime minister from within the alliance. [break]
The other two options include keeping open the prospect of anybody being the PM if a package deal is struck by January 9 with view to new elections by mid-May and initiation of lobbying for the revival of the dissolved Constituent Assembly, Singh added.
In the past, the FDRA had floated the first two options, while the last two are new ones. The meeting was held at the prime ministerial official residence in Baluwatar.
