Examinations postponed due to school padlocking

ARGAKHANCHI, Nov 21: Second terminal examination of the Sudha Higher Secondary School at Jukena VDC could not be conducted due to padlocking at the school since past four days.



Students padlocked the school on Friday after no agreement could be reached among the local political parties on the issue of appointing Nepali teacher in the school.[break]



The school weas padlockd demanding appointment of a capable teacher through open competition and no politicizing while appointing the teacher.



All classes from one to 12 have been disrupted following the padlock.



Student Himal Ghimire said second terminal examinations that were to be held from Monday, but the school was unable to hold the examinations following the dispute.
