KATHMANDU, July 27: Former prime minister and senior CPN-UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal was admitted to Bir Hospital on Monday afternoon after he complained of severe headache and high blood pressure.
Officials at the Bir Hospital informed that Nepal was is receiving treatment at the Emergency unit of Trauma Center of Bir Hospital. Doctors at the hospital performed CT-Scan, X-ray on him and tested his blood sample.
'VIPs' get admitted to the hospital to evade detention
"Former PM Nepal has come to our hospital after he felt severe headache and high blood pressure," Dr Swyam Prakash Pandit, director at the hospital, said. He informed that a team of doctors led by Dr Bhupendra Basnet have been monitoring leader Nepal's health.
"No need to worry about his health. His condition is normal now, said Dr Pandit.
