KATHMANDU, May 17: The death toll from the April 25 devastating earthquake that was followed by several aftershocks including two powerful ones has reached 8,497 till date, according to the Nepal Police. Likewise, the number of the injured has passed 22,000.
In the May 12 major aftershock alone, 76 were killed in Dolakha, 20 Sindhupalchowk and 12 in Ramechhap, Nepal Police Spokesperson Kamal Singh Bam said. RSS
