The 14th annual general meeting of the association held on Friday elected Dugar as the president. Similarly, Manish Kumar Agrawal was elected as the first vice-president, Nanda Kishor Mudra second vice-president, Sandip Kumar Agrawal general secretary and Ratna Lal Kedia treasurer.
Buddha Air adds one more aircraft to its fleet
KATHMANDU, May 10: Buddha Air has added one more aircraft to its fleet. The new airplane of the company, ATR-42, landed in Nepal on Saturday. This is the third ATR-42 aircraft purchased by the company.
With the arrival of the new plane, the airline has announced that it will start operating flights to Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj and Dhangadi. The company´s two other ATR-42s currently fly the Biratnagar, Pokhara and Bhadrapur routes.
ATR is the one of the world´s leading aerospace companies and the largest manufacturer of regional aircrafts. According to information posted on its website, an ATR takes off somewhere around the world every 20 seconds.
Buddha Air now has five Beech 1900D aircrafts and three ATR-42 aircrafts.
