It is said that 170 cadres from Chitwan, Gorkha, Tanahun and Lamjung had participated in the meet.
The influence of three factions of the Maoists has been visibly increasing in Gorkha district in the latter days.
There is the majority of establishment side cadres in the district leadership while there are a few cadres close of Baburam at local level.
Constituent Assembly (CA) member Gyanendra Kumal and State Committee Member Yan Prasad Bhatta are openly seen in favour of Dr. Bhattarai. They claimed that it is the Baburam’s thought which has dragged the party to this condition.
It is said that most of the cadres who have been taken action within the party are backing up Baburam.
