DPM flies to Bangkok for checkup (Updated)

KATHMANDU, Jan 28: Deputy Prime Minister Bamdev Gautam has left for Bangkok for further medical checkup Wednesday afternoon for his headache and chest pain. "Gautam is being discharged from Neuro Hospital this afternoon and flying to Bangkok today," said Bishwamani Subedi, press advisor to Gautam.

Senior neurosurgeons had advised Gautam to go to Bangkok for further checkup as there is obstruction in a blood vessel on the back of his head. Gautam is suffering from headache, skin problem and diarrhea. Though there has been significant improvement in his health, doctors have advised him to undergo a thorough checkup in Bangkok. Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal visited the Neuro Hospital, Bansbari to see Gautam.
