Deuba has termed the attacks carried out by UDMF cadres at houses of NC leaders Bimalendra Nidhi, Ananda Prasad Dhungana, Lila Koirala and Ram Krishna Yadav as apolitical and violent.
Aggressive demonstrators on Monday torched the house of NC parliamentarian Nidhi. A parked motorcycle on the residence premises was burnt into ashes during the incident.
Issuing a statement on Wednesday, former Prime Minister Deuba said the incidents were carried by an apolitical and ruthless group with an intention to unnerve party’s leaders and cadres with general convention around the corner.
The statement has warned the front not to involve in such activities in future and also demanded action against those involved in the attacks.
