The fringe parties have called the strike indefinitely demanding to form a civilian government by dissolving the Constituent Assembly (CA). However the strike has turned ineffective in the district. [break]
Police said that the vehicles to and from the district are running smoothly and the factories and markets have also opened as usual.
District police office said that no untoward incident was reported during the strike in the district.
