The outfit has been giving death threat to the CDO over an Indian mobile phone for the past few days, the sources said. However, they did not reveal the name of the outfit.
"I am getting death threat over Indian mobile phone (919784704926) for the past few days", said Bhandari.
The threat came after the CDO started to coordinate with the border security agencies to maintain security in the district, said the sources. It is said that Bhandari has directed all the district-based government offices to adopt transparency to control corruption.
The sources said that they had informed officials of the Home Ministry about the death threat given to the CDO informally.
