After meeting with the Maoist chief, Nepali Congress lawmaker Jip Tshering Lama Shrepa said that Dahal assured them that the Maoist party has not backtracked from the previous stance on state-restructuring.
On the occasion, Dahal said that Maoist party is ready to think if other political parties were ready for state-restructuring to provide rights to all indigenous communities, classes and regions.
The representatives of Sherpa community asked Dahal to not exclude Sherpa Autonomous Province and Jadan Province as proposed by the Constituent Assembly Committee on State Restructuring.
Over 12 lawmakers of UCPN (Maoist), NC and UML were present in the team.
