KATHMANDU, June 11: Nepal Contraceptive Retail Sales (CRS) Company launched emergency contraceptive pill e-Con on Wednesday.

Acting secretary at the Ministry of Health and Population Dirgha Singh Bam officially launched the product that is effective for up to five days (120 hrs) after unprotected sex.

The pill will be available over the counter at a maximum retail price of Rs 50.
