Born in 1942 at Pakali VDC of Sunsari district, late Chaudyary led CPN (Marxist) since 2048. He became Land Reform and Management Minister during the interim government formed after the success of Jana Andolan II.
He was jailed for 14 years during various democratic movements and was influenced by the thoughts of late founding General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party Pushpa Lal.
In the recent time, he was campaigning for three states—Gandaki, Koshi and Karnali. He is survived by wife, two sons and four daughters.
