Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu, Keshav Badal, president of National Cooperative Federation of Nepal, said cooperatives can play a great role in minimizing country's trade deficit.
Officials, employees and members of different cooperatives participated in a rallies organized in Kathmandu as well as different parts of the country to celebrate the day. The slogan for this year's celebration was 'Cooperatives for Import Replacement and Social Justice'.
