A meeting of the CC this afternoon held at Singh Durbar made the recommendation to this effect. The meeting also recommended the name of Kayo Devi Yami as chairperson of Public Service Commission. Yami previously served as a member of PSC.[break]
Likewise the meeting recommended the name of Bhanu Acharya as Auditor General.
“We decided to recommend the names in accordance with the recommendation made by the High Level Political Committee,” Damodar Prasad Sharma, acting chief justice and ex-official member of the CC said emerging from the meeting.
