Cold claims one in Kanchanpur

KANCHANPUR, Jan 22: An elderly woman died of cold in Jhalari VDC of Kanchanpur district on Sunday. The deceased is Gaura Devi Tamata, 70, of the VDC.



Local Ram Bahadur Tamata said the septuagenarian died due to excessive cold and lack of warm clothes. [break]



Health condition of the deceased had deteriorated with the increase of cold for few days.



The funeral rite of deceased was performed on the bank of Mahakali River  with the help of locals.
